Our Identity & Purpose

Blossom Hill Mennonite Church is a community of faith rooted in Jesus, cultivating justice, and welcoming all as children known and loved by God.

Rooted in Jesus

“I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

“Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep God’s love is.” Ephesians 3:17-18

Rooted in…

Jesus as the center of our faith and our spiritual formation at every life stage.

Jesus’ unconditional love for us which is expressed in our care for one another.

Jesus’ call to care for the vulnerable in our communities and our world.

Cultivating Justice

“The Spirit of our God is upon me, because the Most High has anointed me to bring good news to those who are poor. God has sent me to proclaim liberty to those held captive and recovery of sight to those who are blind, and release to those in prison, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.” Luke 4:18-19

“What does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8
